Cantonese-Style BBQ Pork Buns

COOK FROM FROZEN:

Cooking times may vary depending on equipment used.

STEAM:         

1. 1. Line the base of a metal or bamboo steamer with perforated baking paper (or make small half- fingernail size holes in the baking paper to let steam through).
   2. Bring a half-full pot of water to the boil.
   3. Remove frozen buns from pack and carefully place them one by one into steamer.
   4. Place steamer over pot of boiling water, cover with a lid and steam for approximately 15 minutes until buns are steaming hot right through.        
   5. Ensure buns are piping hot before serving.

MICROWAVE:  

1. 1. Remove buns from pack.
   2. Place frozen buns into a microwave safe container.
   3. Cover buns with a damp paper towel to prevent drying out.
   4. Microwave on high for approximately 1 minute per bun until buns are steaming hot right through.

CONDITIONS FOR STORAGE – KEEP FROZEN:

Store in freezer at or below -18°C for up to 12 months, until ready to cook from frozen. DO NOT re-freeze if thawed and use within 24 hours.
